Backpacking Tent Camping - Backpacking Tent

A backpacking tent that you can use for backpacking tent camping while you backpack across the country. They have demands different than other camping tents. Backpacking tents need to be light and durable, you should always be prepared for an emergency survival situation. Outdoor survival preparedness means having the right gear. I really like the old pup tent design, which for some reason is hard to find in the stores. Well, I finally found one on Amazon by River Country Products Trekker Tent 2, Trekking Pole Tent, Ultralight Backpacking Tent. Backpacking Tent Camping | Camping Checklist

Going backpacking tent camping? Make a camping checklist. I use a lot of checklists; my camping checklist is one of them. This is not going to be about my checklists, but about camping in general. I only mentioned camping checklist because there are so many things, I don’t want to forget to put in this post. I don’t skimp on my camping hiking equipment, for one good reason (make that two). I want to be comfortable and enjoy the outdoors.
When I think about comfort the first thing that comes to mind is a comfortable sleeping bag. I don’t care much about a mattress; it seems that most camping mattresses, pads, and beds are more trouble than they are worth. When you set up camping tents properly, a sleeping bag can be very comfortable. A camping chair is another piece of camping equipment that is well worth bringing along, as long as you are not planning on a lot of backpacking. In that case, a chair is a little more than I want to carry. Of course a camping tent should also be included among your camping supplies. Your camping food and recipes will determine wither you need a camping stove or just the campfire, if a campfire is permitted. Camping recipes can be the best part of a camping experience, as a camper’s appetite is usually exceptionally good. For that reason, I have what I call my camping kitchen, a Coleman camping stove and fuel, lighter, matches, a Dutch oven along with other camping cookware and utensils. I keep my camping kitchen in a heavy-duty plastic box and it’s always ready to go backpacking tent camping. In another box, I call my shelter box; in it is everything for shelter tent, tarp, tent poles, stakes, rope, and a hatchet. I have a large cooler for dry camping food; it’s got room for a smaller cooler inside where I keep a gallon jug of water that I can freeze. Then I can bring a little fresh food. OK, I think I’m ready to go, let me go back and see what I missed. Almost forgot water I have a 5-gallon water cooler and I’ll bring more for a longer camp out. I want to bring at least a gallon of water for every day that I plan to camp. The last thing I pack is my backpack; In it, I carry minimal survival gear. In a later post, I’ll Write about how I pack my backpack camping and hiking gear. This is my personal checklist, I might take everything or adjust what I actually carry to the trip I am planning for.

Backpacking Tent Camping | Camping Hiking Gear

Backpacking Tent Camping - Camping Hiking Gear
When you are backpacking tent camping, the right camping hiking gear can make a big difference in the enjoyment of your outdoor experience. I live in two worlds the great outdoors, I call it the real world. Living laid back and communing with nature. The man-made world, concrete plastic, and pollution. I really don't want to get political here but I want to let you know where I stand. I have two major reasons for this blog; online income and helping others connect with nature. I've been searching online for a few years now and I've developed relationships with several companies that supply camping and hiking gearThe right Camping hiking gear isn't always easy to find. Outdoors gear for camping hiking has to be tough. Thanks for reading the Backpacking Tent Camping blog Camping Hiking Gear post please leave a comment.
